Newsletters
We live in a world in which the sheer amount of available information and resources can be overwhelming. As publishers of The Head’s Letter and The Trustee’s Letter, our purpose is to keep you abreast of the key issues facing independent schools and to provide you with information and ideas about how schools are handling them.
To facilitate this process for our readers, we summarize and provide commentary on important articles from individual school publications, national educational journals, national and international newspapers and magazines, and book reviews. In addition, school leaders across the country write articles expressly for The Head’s Letter and The Trustee’s Letter.

The Head’s Letter includes articles by educational leaders that address major issues of school leadership that apply to all independent schools. There are also short items that cite interesting programs and events at schools throughout the world.
The Head's Letter is published monthly, nine times per year, October through June.
The cost is $85. Multiple copies are available.

The Trustee's Letter is the one newsletter dedicated to trustees of independent schools. It offers concise information about school governance and current educational issues of interest to trustees. There are thematic articles by leading authorities on governance and other school related topics as well as observations from our own research and experience.
